This roller is the primary component responsible for maintaining proper tension during film winding. Typically, the tension of the film is detected by pressure sensors positioned beneath the bearings at both ends of the tension roller. The signals from these sensors are then processed through electronic circuits, which adjust the rotational speed of the winding motor to ensure optimal winding tension. This process helps flatten the film and eliminates any longitudinal wrinkles that may have formed under tensile stress. Additionally, a position-adjustable tracking roller—also known as a pressing roller—is installed at the front of the winding core. Its main function is to firmly press the film against the winding core, enabling either direct contact winding or near-contact winding with minimal gaps. This ensures that the smooth, flat film is swiftly transferred onto the core, ultimately achieving the goal of seamless, even winding.
